I grew up in Herefordshire and have lived in Mid Wales for the past decade. I studied English at Bristol University and then for an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Texas at Austin where I received a James A. Michener Fellowship. Narrative and storytelling have always been at the heart of my artistic practice.

My work has been exhibited at Oriel Davies, Mid Wales Arts, Hay Festival, The Royal Academy, Aberystwyth Arts Centre and MOMA Machynlleth (a review can be found here). My work has also been published in Poetry Wales, New Welsh Review, Nashville Review, INK BRICK, Berfrois, The Rialto, Ambit, Aesthetica, Mslexia, The North, a Flarestack Anthology, and won the Bat City Review Art & Writing Prize. A poetry pamphlet Soft Mutation is published by Rack Press and Aerial Roots (with Subhro Bandopadhyay) published by Poetry Wala, India.

I have collaborated and performed readings with writers from around the world through organisations such as Literature Across Frontiers, Wales Arts International and British Council Wales. I currently run workshops through Ennyn CIC.
